Exceptional Bath Stone
for exceptional projects
The beauty and consistency of the Bath Stone from our mines is exceptional, which is why it is specified for projects that need outstanding quality and reliability. It is the choice for high profile new build and restoration projects across the UK. It is also the choice of individuals painstakingly restoring period homes.
Sensitive and sustainable mining
We mine each of our assets sustainably and sensitively with the greatest of respect for the natural environment and the health and safety of our workers.
We plan our operations with the utmost thought and care. We invest intelligently in state of the art mining equipment so we always have the latest technology to support our operations. All our personnel are trained to the highest standards of health and safety and we have an in-house Rescue Team. We work closely with HM Inspectorate of Mines and strictly adhere to the The Mines Regulations 2014.
In this way, we can ensure our mines can continue to be a source of stone for generations to come.
Passionate about the quality of our stone
We are passionate about the part Bath Stone has to play in sensitive and informed building.
We sponsor the annual Bath Building Control Awards to highlight the importance of using high quality, sustainably sourced materials. We support our local masonry college to ensure future generations understand the heritage of Bath Stone. We partner with architects and specifiers to deliver continuous professional development that educates people in the optimum use of Bath Stone.
Perhaps most importantly, we believe that our Bath Stone should be for everyone interested in supporting high quality building. Whether you are interested in a single block for a fireplace in your home or a long term supply commitment for a major building project, we engage with the same attention to detail and focus so we can help you deliver an exceptional end result.
We have recently donated all the stone used in the restoration of the Archway Project, Bath which will provide much needed learning facilities to the Roman Baths, one of the UK’s most visited historic attractions on behalf of heritage services, Bath & North East Somerset.
We are also assisting with support and donation of Stoke Ground Bath Stone to the Cleveland Pool restoration in Bath. Cleveland Pool is Britain’s oldest lido dating back over 200 years; we are delighted to be involved in this important local project.
