Bath Riverside
Gold Winner for the Best Development at the What House Awards 2017 and the Silver Winner for Best Luxury Development.
Crest Nicholson’s Bath Riverside development was one of the most important regeneration projects in the UK, turning a former industrial site which was left derelict for more than 25 years, into high quality housing which met the needs of modern living. The new development looks at ease in its surroundings and Bath’s rich history is honoured with architectural details inspired by the city’s Georgian splendour.
Bath Riverside is a striking £600 million development, comprising 2,000 homes, as well as a new school, energy centre, commercial units and acres of public space. Both Stoke Ground Top Bed and Stoke Ground Base Bed was used throughout the project. The intricate stone and metalwork elements required careful consideration and collaboration to create beautiful yet robust details. A dash of orange tiles was added against the Bath stone in reference to the rusty stains found in the city’s Roman baths.
